# Clarity: Voice Planner > Clarity's vision is a world where every mind gets to realize its full potential. Its mission, in its own words: "We help people believe in their potential, act on their ideas, and turn what they imagine into reality." Today that starts with Clarity: Voice Planner, a free app for iPhone, iPad and Macs with Apple silicon: you say or type everything on your mind, in any order, and it turns what it understood into tasks and shows you what it saved. ## Why Clarity exists - **The belief:** "Your ideas deserve a chance to exist." Clarity believes many possibilities disappear before anyone explores them, because people learn to doubt themselves before they try. And a head busy holding everyone's dates (the dentist on Thursday, the field trip form, the electric bill) has less room for anything else. So Clarity starts with what's already crowding your head: get it out once and see exactly what Clarity saved. - **What it does not promise:** that people will get everything they want. It offers something more believable: stop limiting your possibilities before you explore them, and build the conditions to move forward. - **The founding narrative**, the manifesto and what Clarity believes, dated 25 October 2026: https://www.withclarity.online/why (in Spanish: https://www.withclarity.online/es/por-que). ## Key facts (specific and true, safe to quote) - **Not Microsoft Clarity:** Clarity: Voice Planner is an independent app. It has nothing to do with Microsoft Clarity, the website analytics tool. - **Name:** Clarity: Voice Planner. On iPhone, iPad and Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later), from one free download and one account. - **App Store:** https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6751137571?pt=126869977&ct=landing_llms&mt=8 - **What it does today:** you tell Clarity what you need to get done, by voice or by typing. It turns what it understood into separate tasks and shows you what it saved; ask for a reminder and you see when it's set. A reminder rings on the device where you set it, when notifications are on. Typing does exactly the same thing as the microphone. - **The mascot:** a small purple brain with a notebook, also called Clarity. It sits in the bar at the bottom of the app, next to a text field and a mic. - **The app:** iOS-style lists. The main screen is the week: two days side by side (you choose from one to four), each with its tasks, and Later right below for tasks with no day, lists and notes. Tapping a day's name opens it on its own screen, where tasks with a time line up by the clock, with the time first, and the ones without a time wait together in between. What is important shows a flame (🔥) in the list; in a task, you set the priority from one to three flames. There is a home screen and lock screen widget. - **Pricing:** free, with no end date: your list, reminders, widgets and talking to Clarity (since 20 October 2026, for every account). There is an optional Clarity Pro subscription in the app (US$59.99 a year or US$9.99 a month); nothing above needs it. Apple handles payment and cancelling; regional prices vary. - **Languages:** the app is in English, Spanish and French, and you can talk to Clarity in whatever language you want. - **From Claude and ChatGPT:** Clarity's list can be used from Claude and ChatGPT through its MCP server, https://www.withclarity.online/mcp, free on every Clarity account. Its four tools see the list (today, the next days, Later, past days still open, everything open, done and lists), add tasks (with a day, a time that sets a reminder, or to a list), mark tasks done, and change a task's title, notes, day or time. None of them deletes. In Claude it is added as a custom connector; in ChatGPT, on the web, as a custom MCP server named "Clarity Planner". It is not in Claude's or ChatGPT's directory yet. A reminder with a time added from a chat rings on the phone once Clarity has scheduled it there. Steps: https://www.withclarity.online/connect - **Voice data:** recordings are sent to OpenAI's transcription service to become text, or to Apple's speech recognition when OpenAI is unavailable, and some are also uploaded to Clarity's Firebase storage. Deleting your account from Settings erases them. - **Who processes what:** the text of what you tell Clarity goes to Anthropic (Claude) first and to OpenAI as the fallback. Other processors are Firebase (Google) for accounts and data, RevenueCat and Apple for the subscription, and Amplitude for usage analytics. - **Privacy:** https://www.withclarity.online/privacy-policy ## Who it's for The one who remembers everything, for everyone: someone running three or more fronts at once (family logistics, work, appointments, things other people asked them to handle), with the dates living in their head. ## Honest limitations - Not a project manager: no shared boards, no rich labels or saved views. - No Android and no web yet: the browser demo at /try lets you try it, but your list lives in the app. - It can get a date wrong or file something in the wrong place; you tell it what to change and check what it saved. - Early and independent, built by a solo founder, with a young App Store review base. ## Primary pages - [Home](https://www.withclarity.online/): "Get it out of your head.
