Say everything at once. See what Clarity turned into tasks.

Most voice to-do lists want one task per sentence, said like a command. That is not how it comes out when you finally sit down in the car. With Clarity you talk the way you think, work and the kids and the house all mixed, and it turns what it understood into separate tasks and shows you what it saved.

What it looks like

One breath, the way people actually say it:

What you say: "ok so tomorrow I have to call the dentist for Mia, and the invoice for Marta goes out Friday. We're out of dog food. Oh, and Sunday is my mom's birthday, so a gift before then. Remind me at six to call the plumber."

What you get:

  • Today: 6:00 PM · Call the plumber, with a reminder
  • Tomorrow: Call the dentist for Mia
  • Friday: Send the invoice to Marta
  • Saturday: Buy Mom's birthday gift
  • Later: Buy dog food

How it works

  • Talk or type, all at once, halfway through something else. Typing does exactly the same thing as the mic.
  • Clarity pulls apart what it understood and shows you exactly what it saved.
  • Ask for a reminder, once or on repeat, and you see when it's set.
  • The week is your main screen, each day with its tasks. What has no day yet waits in Later, right below.
  • Widgets on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen show what is next without opening the app.
  • One free download for iPhone, iPad and Macs with Apple silicon, with the same account.

When a voice to-do list is worth it

If you add one thing at a time, the to-do app you already have is enough. A voice list earns its place when the things arrive in a pile: ten at once, from three parts of your life, at 11pm or between two meetings, when typing them one by one into the right list with the right date is exactly the part that does not happen.

That is where Clarity starts: you say the whole pile once, and it turns what it understood into tasks and shows you what it saved.

What it does not do

  • No Android and no web yet. The list lives in the iPhone, iPad and Mac app.
  • No shared lists or boards: each list belongs to one person.
  • It can get a date wrong or file something in the wrong place. When it does, tell it what to change and check what it saved.

What it costs

The app is free, with no end date: your list, reminders and widgets. Talking to Clarity is free too, with no end date. There is an optional Clarity Pro subscription in the app.

Questions

Do I have to talk to it?

No. Typing does exactly the same thing. The mic is there for when your hands are full or the thought is too long to type.

Can I say work and home things together?

Yes. You do not have to sort anything before you say it. Clarity works out what each thing is, and shows you what it saved.

Does it work on iPad and Mac?

Yes. The same free download runs on iPhone, iPad and Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later), with the same account.

Which languages does it understand?

The app is in English, Spanish and French, and you can talk to Clarity in whatever language you want.

Is there a free version?

Yes. The list, reminders, widgets and talking to Clarity are free, with no end date.
